MOVING WITH THE TIMES

Posted on 17 April, 2018 at 11:15 Comments comments (0)

Good afternoon .

I have just updated the website a little and also the Hours

As a village Pub we have to keep our eyes on running costs thankfully The Cock is a freehouse but like every other small fish in this very big pond sometimes its just better to say hey we tried ~~ So we will no longer be serving food on Wednesday or Thursday

The pub wil be open for drinking with lots of tempting special offers xx including FREE POOL ON THURSDAY

this blog has a very fishy tune !

you will see more of me behind the bar on Wednesday and Thursday before i head back into the kitchen for our busy friday saturday and sunday x

so please see New food times

On another note On FRIDAYS we now open from 12.30 in the afternoon serving our lovely fresh fish and chips well it is what i do best

12.30 to 2.30 april and may this will be just £5.00 over lunchtime and thats a great offer

Lunchtimes / walking groups

Lunchtime bookings

weekdays are a very quiet time in the Village of castle camps , and whilst this is great for peace and enjoyable country walks , Its not a viable option to staff the pub .

however if you wish to book in groups of 15 or more for a light lunch  £5 upwards i,m happy to arrange this when possible

Booking the snug for parties

Posted on 18 May, 2016 at 9:15 Comments comments (0)

We have the most comfortable snug bar ( we call it snug because its such a warming room)

This can hold 20 to 25 seated and of late we have had much larger parties but with nibbles or a light buffet.

We do not charge out for use of the snug ,but encourage you to arrange a visit to see if its suitable for your party needs and to discuss foods and drinks
